The SlatWall MX™ Strip is great for getting clutter off the floor and hanging longer items. They work just like traditional slatwall but measuring only 6" high they fit just about anywhere. The proven T-Channel design allows free movement of hooks for fine adjustment of horizontal positioning. Hooks simply attach by sliding into the T-Channel from the front of the strip. SlatWall MX™ Strip is built tough to withstand the extreme heat, cold, and humidity of a rugged work environment.
Compared to other brands such as Gladiator® GearTrak, the SlatWall MX™ Strip is built with real aluminum fascia that will never rust, rot, corrode or degrade over time. We use real aluminum diamond plate and brushed aluminum so that nothing looks more powerful or tougher than the SlatWall MX™ Strip. And most importantly, the SlatWall MX™ Strip is designed to industry standard 3" O.C. which makes it compatible with the millions of standard hooks and accessories available (Gladiator® won’t work).
The SlatWall MX™ Strip is easy to attach to wood studs, drywall over wood studs, or masonry. Just screw into wall and the SlatWall MX™ Strip is ready to go. No maintenance required. Heavy Duty Aluminum Channel Reinforcements give the SlatWall Strip the highest load capacity in the industry.

Can I get a custom length?
We can make a custom length SlatWall Strip for an additional $35. Place your order online and add your custom length note in the "Special Requests" box at check out. You will see a second charge on your credit card for the custom length fee. Or you can call us to place your order over the phone 1.888.983.4327 (98.DGEAR).
How do I cut it?
Product can be cut with any saw such as a jig saw, circular saw, table saw or band saw. Just be sure to use a blade designed to cut sheet metal (a fine tooth blade). We provide Custom Cutting services at $35/cut.

Can I get true 96" L?
Yes. Please contact us for pricing and shipping cost. Please note that typically 96”L product incurs large shipping costs. This is because the small parcel carriers, such as FedEx and UPS, have implemented large surcharges on packages they consider "oversize" which measure over 96"L. It is evident they only want to ship small boxes from Amazon! Shipping a 96”L product used to require the packag-ing to be 100"L, thereby incurring these large surcharges. For example, the cost to ship one 10 lbs package that is over 96”L is $130 minimum. After months of testing, we have engineered a packaging system which can ship 95" product within a 96" package safely, totally eliminating the oversize charges. If you require your product to be true 96”L then please contact us 1.888.98.DGEAR (983.4327).

Rate service as 5 stars. This was bought as a replacement for an existing rack that had fallen from wall, suspect the metal studs and screws and anchors weren’t right for the wall, used heavy duty anchors in studs as well as in Sheetrock walls. The original install lasted over 2 years by it gave out during but not related to a recent hurricane. I also have 2 other walls that didn’t fall but removed and remounted using heavy duty anchors. I have been using these racks since I moved to Florida 12 years ago, installed in 2 houses, hopefully theses will not fail.

Hello, I am happy with the guitar hanger. It works very well with my half a dozen guitars with room for a couple of more. The one thing I would suggest and one negative thing is that the "Cherry" is just a thin artificial layer that's been put on particle board. If I had known it was that I might have ordered the black one or checked to see if there was one that was solid pine or something. I thought it was actually made of cherry wood and there was nothing to indicate that it's just a thin imitation layer. It seems solid enough but it just was not expected. Otherwise I'm very happy with it, thanks!

4 stars. The product looks great and works exactly as described. Very happy. It would have been 5 stars, but I didn't like having to drill the holes myself. I understand it gives customers maximum flexibility in terms of placement, but it still felt like too much work. In particular, the metal is so soft and delicate that it was too easy to have the drill slip and leave an unwanted mark. Perhaps a compromise would be to have dimples where the holes 'should' go with standard stud placements. That would stop the drill but from slipping and also ensure the holes are aligned correctly.

I can only think of one area in which I can suggest an improvement. And I believe this is a problem based on the results of your own success. But when I click on the “more photos“ link on your website, the website just tells me it’s loading and I never see the pictures. I’m sure that’s because so many people have uploaded so many pictures that it takes a long time. But I would love to see more pictures of what other folks have done with your guitar rack.
